ALPINOVA (12) ran below her best when ninth last start over 5f at Yarra Valley, beaten 6 lengths. Worth another chance. UNIQUE BAMBINO (2) finished out of the money two starts back then he got a long way back and was beaten 2.75 lengths when fifth in a 6f contest at Mornington a week-and-a-half ago. Perfectly placed and is sure to play a pivotal role. GATOR (1) was never in contention when 5.5 lengths from the winner in ninth over 6f at Mornington last start, a less impressive effort than his fourth at Mornington the run before. Won't find this as tough so he can find the winners' list. TRAK CHILLER (6) finished 21 lengths adrift in 11th last time over 7f at Mt Gambier in a disappointing performance. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time.
