SHAL EXCEED (8) finished 2.25 lengths from the winner in fifth last start over 7f at Geelong, an improvement on his eighth at Sale the run before. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. DONATION (14) hit the frame two starts ago at Pakenham Synthetic but ran below par last time when sixth and beaten 5 lengths over 6f at Pakenham Synthetic. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. ROCKCLIFF (11) is close to a win after a string of minor placings, the latest when third over 5f127yards at Moe. Finds a suitable race and can build on that solid recent form. PHANTOM PRINCE (9) accounted for a maiden field over 5½f at Wangaratta last start, finishing 0.8 lengths ahead of the nearest rival. Luke Cartwright was in the saddle on that occasion and retains the mount. Harder this time but still one to consider.
