MISS TOP GUN (4) was on the speed from the rails draw when resuming last start and battled on well to finish third over 5½f at Murtoa. This is a nice drop in grade so she is a major player. CASTLEFIELD FLYER (8) was too good for a maiden field last start over 6½f at Gunbower, scoring by 2. 75 lengths. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. Progressing well so worth following up. DREAMWRITER (9) has been out of the placings in two runs since a break, the latest when sixth, beaten 3. 5 lengths, over 5f152yards at Geelong after she was in the firing line on the corner. Has never been out of the placings at the third run in and is capable of sharp improvement. MACOCHA (3) returned from a lay-off four weeks ago when she was beaten 5 lengths into ninth over 6f at Ballarat. Fitter so can feature in the finish.
