GALLANT OAK (2) finished second at this track two runs back but didn't measure up last time over 6f at this track, finishing 5.5 lengths back in seventh. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. SAINT PIO (6) finds it hard to win with three victories from 32 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fourth over 6f at this track, beaten 4 lengths. Likely contender with strong prospects. RESERVE PROOF (3) is an imported four-year-old having his first run in this area for the Wendy Anderson barn. Scored at his last run over 5½f at Golden Gate Fields (Synthetic) ten weeks ago. Not seen at the trials but he should feature in the finish. RATLIFF CITY (1) was comfortably accounted for when fourth last time out over 6f at this track, beaten 6 lengths, after a win at this track at the previous outing. Nicely placed to feature in the finish.
