The class-dropping MARTATOR (2) is three from three at this venue and could prove capable of getting back to winning ways following an excellent third in the G2 Desert Orchid Handicap Chase at Kempton over Christmas. The selection beat KOTMASK (5) convincingly attempting 2m1f at this venue during November however the Gary and Josh Moore trained charge is now better off at the weights. Commands respect following a gutsy success here four weeks ago. The runner-up that day SCARFACE (8) must be considered off 3lb better terms. FLEGMATIK (6) makes some appeal in a competitive handicap chase.
