SHOOTING SPIRIT (8) is close to breaking through after two consecutive placings, the latest coming when third over 6f at this track. Finds a tougher race but this looks well within his grasp. DONT WAIT FOR LUCK (4) resumes for a new yard after finishing in the money over 1m3/4f at Kalgoorlie at the last appearance on October 5. Brought up to the mark with a trial win at Lark Hill. Good fresh performer with a win and one minor placings from three runs. Bold showing expected. BRAZEN BID (10) is a progressive three-year-old gelding who hasn't raced since finishing second over 5f at Belmont Park on June 8 which was the only run of that prep. Winner of his most recent trial. Has never been out of the placings when resuming from two tries. Among the better hopes.
