WESTERN EMPIRE (1) worked to the line steadily over 6f in the G1 Winterbottom Stakes at this track last time out and finished ninth. Has never been out of the money in three starts at the tirp here and expected to be in the finish this time. SUPER SMINK (14) disappointed last time when ninth over 1m1f in the G1 Railway Stakes at this track after a close third in the G1 Railway Stakes at this track the run prior. Coming back in trip suits so is expected to be in the finish. COMFORT ME (3) lifted strongly but just failed to pick up the winner last start over 1m in the G1 Railway Stakes at this track. Should be near his peak for this. Ready to go one better. ROPE THEM IN (12) settled at the rear then stoked up nicely in the straight to finish fourth over 6f here last time. Has ability and a bold showing is expected.
