YONGA LASS (11) came from well back last time to just miss over 7½f in the G3 RJ Peters Stakes at this track. Leading chance. DEVOTED (6) is a six-year-old gelding who is having his first run for the Luke Fernie yard. Resumes after finishing 11th in the LR Tontonan (Sofitel) Stakes at Flemington at his last run ten weeks ago. Will strip fitter for a trial win and goes well fresh from a lay-off, filling a placing two times from six runs. Leading prospect. AZTEC RULER (7) is struggling to break through but hasn't been far away, the latest offering a fourth, beaten 0.6 lengths, over 7½f in the G3 RJ Peters Stakes at this track. Will find this a little easier than last start. Certainly one to consider. INVESTMENTSTRATEGY (9) was responsible for a better run last start at the second run of the campaign, beaten 0.6 lengths into fifth over 7½f at this track. Well placed and can figure in the finish this time.
