LIGHT INFANTRY MAN (5) was a dominant winner last time in the LR Chester Manifold Stakes at Flemington over the same distance. Backmarker who gets home hard. Will prove tough to beat. SUPER SMINK (13) finished second two runs back in the G3 Eurythmic Stakes at this track then improved last time out to score by 0.7 lengths as favourite over 7f in the G3 Asian Beau Stakes at this track. Chris Parnham scored on her last time and retains the ride. Needs to be at her best to beat this field but she has the ability to mix it with them. ZIPAWAY (16) resumed with a fourth over 7f in the G2 Lee Steere Stakes at this track two weeks ago. Down in weight. Change of rider to Steven Parnham who has three wins when aboard. Capable of running a bold race. YONGA LASS (17) was a real eye-catcher last start, coming from the tail over 7½f in the G3 RJ Peters Stakes at this track to finish a head from the winner in second. Stiffer assignment here but is ready for the challenge.
