WESTERN POWER (6) improved sharply on his sixth two starts back at Belmont Park with success over 1m at Belmont Park three weeks ago, getting home by one length after being in the firing line on the turn. Looks well placed so expect another big run. GRAND RESERVE (3) was prominent from the outset and fought on for third last start over 1m at Belmont Park, making it two minor placings in a row. Will need a good ride from Chris Parnham off the awkward draw. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he is up to the challenge. STORMAGEDDON (5) built on a nice second two starts back at Belmont Park with a win over 7f at Bunbury three weeks ago, getting home by a head. Meeting a deeper field this time but he is good enough to play a major role. MISS SKYHIGH (4) missed the placings two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 5 lengths away in 12th over 7f at this track. Well placed and can figure in the finish this time.
