ESPRIT GARCON (5) resumes from a lay-off of nine months and comes here off the back of four straight wins. Same winning combination as last time and can measure up again. BRAVE SPIRIT (3) is back from a break of four months. Scored back-to-back wins before running below his best at the last run of the prep, finishing fourth over 1m in the LR Belmont Guineas at Belmont Park. Good effort at the start of last prep to score over 5½f at Albany. One of the main contenders. FLY WITH CAUTION (6) is a promising galloper who got the prize at his last run before a break five-and-a-half months ago over 1m at this track. Fitter for a recent trial at Lark Hill. Has scored when resuming from a lay-off before. Has to be included. SENTIMENTAL BELLE (7) had been racing well with three consecutive placings before last start managing only sixth over 6f at Belmont Park. Settles back early but winds up late. One of the leading chances.
