RHETORICAL (3) weakened quickly when disappointing under a penalty at Kempton (1m4f) during July. Retains plenty of potential now dropping back in trip. The William Haggas trained runner was a good second to a highly-promising horse at Newmarket (July) in June. Could prove well-treated off this opening mark. Last-time-out Goodwood (1m2f) runner-up BRIONI (9) warrants respect off this revised rating. MORE THUNDER (7) didn't look entirely at ease on the track when second at Chester last time. Could appreciate revisiting this more conventional venue. CELTIC WARRIOR (11) finished a decent second over 1m2f at Epsom. Holds strong each-way claims.
