Group 2 placegetter A LOT OF GOOD MEN (2) is building towards a win with placings at his last two runs, the latest effort a second over 1m in the LR Lex Piper Stakes at this track when beaten half a length. Record at this track is strong. Should be in the finish. AUTUMN REBEL (3) wasn't far away last time out, finishing sixth over 1m in the LR Lex Piper Stakes at this track after he gave away a big start. Won at his only try over this journey. Among the leading chances. BUCKETS RIDGE (10) was unplaced two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m at this track, beaten one length into fifth. No surprise to see him in the frame.
