This course and distance specialist receives a handy draw in stall eighteen and looks the one to beat racing off 3lbs lower than his last winning mark. Progression has been nothing short of extraordinary from QUINAULT (5) this season and he cannot be ignored following a hard-fought all-the-way victory over POPMASTER (1) here (7f) last month. The latter has since won a Listed contest on soft ground at Newbury and carries a 7lbs penalty. BARADAR (3) may go close having followed up a track and trip win with a fine success at Doncaster. Others to note are BIGGLES (2) and ATRIUM (10).
