SECRET STONES (7) showed good early dash and stalked the pace last start before drawing clear to score by a head over 6½f at Cranbourne. Will go forward and should be in the finish again. CRYSTANADO (5) broke through for his maiden win over 6½f at Geelong last time, scoring comfortably. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Shaping up nicely and he should be in the finish again. ARTRESE (3) returned from a lay-off two weeks ago when he was beaten 6 lengths into ninth over 6½f at Geelong. Strips fitter and can play a major role. DIAMOND WAR (12) turned in a modest performance when ninth last time out over 7f at Kerang, beaten 11 lengths, after a win at Warrnambool at the previous outing. Worth plenty of thought.
