LASER SHARP (3) was in contention on the turn and finished second last start over 6f at Tampa Bay Downs (Dirt), beaten 1.75 lengths. Has a good record at this course and distance, including a win and two minor placings. Luis R Rivera (Jnr) gets the best out of this four-year-old gelding. Meeting a deeper field this time but he cannot be ruled out. CONTRARY THINKING (4) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6½f at this track, beaten 5.5 lengths. Fitter so can figure in the finish.
