YORK TAVERN (7) was right in contention when they turned for home and kept finding to finish second last start over 6½f at this track (Dirt), beaten half a length as favourite. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot take this out. CAMM' DUKE (1) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 6f at this track, beaten 13 lengths after being in contention on the turn. Ideally placed and is sure to play a pivotal role. CONNIVING (5) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with only one victory from 15 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fourth over 6½f at this track, beaten 5 lengths. Hard to beat in this suitable race. MAJESTIC ARC (2) was beaten 8 lengths into sixth over 6½f at this track at his latest appearance. Best efforts measure up so worth another chance.
