PADDINGTON (7) returns from a lay-off. Finished eighth at this track and distance at his only appearance last prep four months ago. Record at this journey is strong with two wins from six runs and is expected to feature. CASTLE ISLAND (6) showed good early speed and raced on the pace when when resuming after a lay-off last start before fading to finish fifth, beaten 8 lengths, over 7f at this track (Dirt). Likely to measure up. PRINCE OF CHILL (1) turned in a decent effort last start to finish second over 1m1/4f at Parx after being in the firing line on the corner. Must raise the bar but another big run is on the cards. PORTOS (2) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a strong race last time out, finishing second and beaten only 2 lengths over 1m1f at this track (Dirt). Suitably placed so anticipating another bold showing.
