ICE ROAD (1) was safely held when fourth last time out over 1m1f at this track, beaten 7 lengths. That followed a win at this track at the previous outing. Will enjoy a drop in class so he can return to the winners' list. PORTOS (3) finds it hard to win with two victories from 36 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fifth over 1m at this track, beaten 15 lengths. Finds a more suitable contest and can salute. STRONG LIGHT (6) doesn't win out of turn but ran a nice race last time out over 1m1f at this track (Dirt), finishing third and beaten 2 lengths after being in the firing line on the bend. Beautifully placed and is sure to play a pivotal role. MORE VINO (9) was beaten 15 lengths into sixth in a 7f contest at this track three-and-a-half weeks ago. Suitably placed so can turn things around.
