RED BURGUNDY (5) has been thereabouts without winning, the most recent offering a second at this track (Turf) over 1m1/2f when she was beaten 2.25 lengths. Has good early speed so should take up a forward position. Sure to be in the finish. CAROL T (6) fought on well for third last start over 7f at this track (Dirt), making it two minor placings in a row. Likely to play a major role. EMPIRE MAGIC (4) broke her maiden last start over 7f at this track (Dirt), scoring by 5 lengths. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Re-unites with Dylan Davis who was on board last start. Must be respected now that the penny has dropped.
