CHALKY CAT (7) finished out of the money but was not too far away when resuming last start over 1m at Saratoga (Dirt). Can improve sharply. BEARY FUNNY (9) missed the placings two runs back then did well last start but found a couple better over 1m at Saratoga, beaten only 1.5 lengths after being in the firing line on the turn. Finds a suitable assignment and can get the job done. SMILE MON (1) has been out of the placings in two runs since a break, the latest when seventh, beaten 17 lengths, over 1m at Saratoga (Dirt). Will strip fitter and is expected to run well. ICE ROAD (6) travelled in a rearwards position and failed to live up to expectations over 1m at Saratoga (Dirt) last time out when in the market. That followed a good third the run before. Perfectly placed and is sure to prove tough to beat.
