BOB JOHN RAY (12) produced a reasonable effort when second last start after being in the firing line on the bend over 1m1f at this track, beaten 1.3 lengths. That followed a win at this track the start prior. Finds a suitable race and can figure in the finish. MIRACLE MIKE (4) got home by 0.1 lengths when resuming on turf two starts ago at this track over 1m1/2f. Followed that up with an unplaced effort on dirt at Saratoga over 1m. Strong contender back on the turf. TETA'S TROTTER (3) showed early speed from a good draw last time and raced on speed before drawing clear to score by half a length over 1m1/2f at Saratoga (Turf). One of the main contenders. B D SAINTS (10) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 7f at Saratoga, beaten 18 lengths. Fitter so expect a better run this time.
