Group 1 winner MCKULICK (4) is rarely out of the money and has six wins to her name including last start in the G3 Orchid Stakes at Gulfstream Park (Turf). Looks the testing material again. Group 3 winner STAR FORTRESS (2) showed little early speed last start and failed to come on in the straight when eighth, beaten 7 lengths, over 1m1/2f in the G1 Jenny Wiley Stakes at Keeneland (Turf). Will enjoy a drop in class so she is one of the main contenders. Group 1 placegetter LA MEHANA (5) settled towards the tail then wound up strongly to finish 1.75 lengths away in third when resuming last start over 1m4f in the G3 Orchid Stakes at Gulfstream Park (Turf). Solid top-three candidate. Group 2 winner PARNAC (1) returns after a lay-off of seven months. Looking to emulate her win at Saratoga when returning from a lay-off last prep. Has a strong when resuming record, scoring on two occasions from four starts. Among the better hopes.
