MANDATORY (2) was expected to do more last start when out of the placings over 1m at this track (Dirt), beaten 6 lengths. Yet to miss the placings in three starts over this course and distance. Faces an easier assignment so he will be hard to beat. BEST BET (3) returned from a lay-off two months ago when he was prominent at the turn before being beaten 5 lengths into sixth over 6½f at this track. Finds the right race this time and can take this out. SAFALOW'S MISSION (9) finds it hard to win with just one success from 16 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fourth over 6½f at this track, beaten 12 lengths. Beautifully placed and is sure to prove tough to beat. THANK YOU JON (1) produced a good run two starts back to finish second but disappointed last time when out of the placings at this track (Dirt) over the same trip after he was in the firing line on the bend. Has the ability to figure prominently.
