BON'S A LAD (5) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 1.5 lengths when fifth over 6f at this track three-and-a-half weeks ago. Has his share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. ONLY THE BEST (4) finished third at this track two runs back but didn't measure up last time over 6f at this track, finishing 4 lengths back in sixth. Yet to miss the placings in two starts over this course and distance. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. MOUGENOT (1) is back at the races for the first time since June 22. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last time in work over 5¼f at Balaklava. Now under the care of new trainer Ray Viney. Has to be respected. KING BLING (2) wasn't far off maiden success before a break of six months, finishing the campaign with a minor placing over 1m at this track. Has ability and must be included in calculations.
