GOVERNOR (1) scored in a at this track but was below his best last time when eighth over 5½f at this track. Finds a nice race and can atone. KIKUYU (6) turned in a decent effort last start to finish second over 6f at this track. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. FRANKFURT (2) comes here off a break of 12 weeks. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last prep over 5½f at Darwin. Has to be respected. MAGIC DEFENSE (7) improved sharply last time out to score by half a length over 5½f at this track two weeks ago. Solid top-three prospects.
