BECQUEREL (11) is a seven-start maiden who could only manage to finish fifth at his latest appearance over 6f at this track. This looks a nice race so expect him to be right in the finish. ALTAR BOY (4) was ridden quietly from a good draw last start before closing nicely to get up for fifth over 7f at Townsville. Sure to prove tough to stop. LAMOREE (6) doesn't win out of turn, scoring just once from 26 starts. Did a good job last start to finish second over 5½f at this track, beaten half a length. Hard to beat in this suitable race. BOLD TROPIC (1) built on a nice second when fresh from a lay-off two starts back at this track with success over 5½f at this track two weeks ago, getting home by half a length. Nicely placed to give this a mighty shake.
