GARRUCHA (1) was well fancied last start over 5f at this track when eighth, beaten 4.5 lengths. Has a formidable record at this journey with three wins and two placings from seven starts and should be in the finish. PROTOSTAR (6) is a five-year-old gelding who is having his first run for the Terry Gillett yard. Hasn't raced since finishing fourth at Cowra 12 weeks ago. Not seen at the trials but looks nicely placed. Expected to be in the finish. KIKUYU (7) drew wide and was pretty plain last time out when 6 lengths from the winner in fifth at this course and distance. Has the pace to settle in the leading division. Should be involved in the finish. TRAVANTI (8) has not appeared since he finished sixth over 6f at this track on September 10. Makes plenty of appeal.
