TEXAS DAN (6) is a 12-start maiden who could only manage to finish sixth at his latest appearance over 6f at Yea. Finds a suitable assignment this time and is a great chance to break through. AHTOHALLAN (2) got well back over 7½f at Bendigo last time and never threatened, eventually finishing 11 lengths away in 12th. Caitlin King gets the best out of this six-year-old mare. Finds a nice race and can turn things around. SOME ECLIPSE (4) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 7f at Albury, beaten 15 lengths into 11th. Worth noting Tracey Lee Johnston goes aboard. Has the talent to figure prominently. Nicely placed to find some form.
