PARTHENOPE (5) was in control from the outset to score as favourite on debut over 6f at Goulburn ten months ago and has not been produced since. Has since been kept ticking over with a Goulburn trial placing. Likely improver who should run well again. BOX OFFICE (2) made late ground and finished 4 lengths from the winner in fourth last start over 5½f at Sale, an improvement on his tenth at Geelong the run before. Won't find this as tough so he is a major player. PALAIS DU RHIN (6) recorded her first win last start over 5f70yards at Wagga Riverside, getting home by a head. This is tougher but she is capable of another big run. SHADOW BLACK (7) was in the money two starts back at Warracknabeal but was unable to repeat the effort last time when eighth, beaten 7 lengths, at Swan Hill over 4f190yards. Has her share of talent and can do a lot better.
