ARTHUR THE GREAT (5) turned in a nice effort last time out at the second run of the campaign and finished just half a length from the winner in second over 5f190yards at this track after being prominent at the corner. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. EAMONN'S MEMORY (1) finished third at Benalla two runs back but didn't measure up last time over 6½f at Wagga, finishing 3.5 lengths back in sixth. Nicely placed to turn things around. EPAULLO CREED (4) proved too strong two runs ago at Leeton. Less impressive last time out when tenth over 5½f at Hawkesbury, beaten 6 lengths. Has the class to produce another win. DAZE OFF (10) was safely held when seventh last time out over 5½f at Benalla, beaten 6 lengths, after a win at Gundagai at the previous outing. Likely improver with top-three prospects.
