BANNOCKBURN (5) had been rock-solid with two placings in a row before finishing tenth over 1m2f at Wangaratta last start. Will drift back but wind up late. Will be tough to hold out. MAGNOLIA LODGE (7) travelled in a rearwards position then made a little ground and finished 5 lengths away in eighth last time out over 6½f at Bendigo when resuming from a lay-off. Steps up in journey. Will appreciate the drop in grade. Well placed so expecting a strong run. DYNAMIC ONE (6) tackled city class last start when 14th over 7½f at Rosehill. Should enjoy a good run just off the speed. Will be in this for a long way. FANG IT (3) was safely held when tenth last start over 1m at Benalla, beaten 5.5 lengths after a good when resuming win at Benalla. Finds a suitable race and can figure in the finish.
