RISING WATER (6) was far from disgraced when third last start over 1m at this track, beaten 2.5 lengths after he did his best work in the closing stages. That followed a win at Tatura the start prior. Finds a suitable race and can return to the winner's circle. SLATE RIPPER (7) was a winner over 7½f at this track last time out, dropping out early before coming home with a powerful run to score by a head. In form and another big run is on the cards. STAR BLAZER (3) turned in a nice run last time to finish third over 6½f at Wagga after being in contention on the turn. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. THE WOKE WAITER (4) turned in another moderate effort last start when 7 lengths from the winner in ninth over 7f at this track. Has his share of ability and is a top-three prospect.
