READ MY LIPS (2) is a seven-start maiden who almost broke the ice last time out when a close second over 5f at this track after being in the firing line on the corner. Nicely placed to take this out. BERNAY (3) was beaten just a neck last start when fresh from a lay-off and landed her first top-three finish in the process at Wagga over 5f. Looks close to a win. BRIMIN (6) was out of the money when resuming two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 5f at this track, beaten 3 lengths into fourth after being prominent at the corner. Likely improver with strong prospects. BRAVE EMMA (5) could only manage to finish eighth, beaten 11 lengths, at her latest appearance over 6f at Ballarat Synthetic after she was well back on straightening. Well placed on this occasion and is a likely improver.
