COOL MEMORY (3) finished third when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6f at Ascot. A bold showing is expected. AVOIDANCE (8) crossed from an outside draw last time to stalk the lead before drawing clear to win by 0.7 lengths over 5f at Pinjarra. Looks the testing material again. DEFENDING (6) is struggling to break through but hasn't been far away, the latest effort a fourth beaten one length over 7f at Ascot. Will find this easier than last start. Should be involved in the finish. SUPERSESSION (1) is yet to find his good form from last campaign, last start finishing eighth at Ascot but overdue for another win. Goes well at this journey including four wins and don't underestimate.
