I LOVE LUCY A LOT (10) returned from a lay-off two weeks ago when she was in the firing line on the corner before being beaten 2.2.5 lengths into fifth over 5½f at this track. Nicely placed to play a pivotal role. BRANDBERG (3) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m at this track, beaten 2.5 lengths into fourth. Likely improver with strong prospects. BULLS EYE PERFECT (1) finished tenth over 1m at Northam at his most recent appearance on October 11 2023. Worth plenty of thought. BATTER UP (11) turned in another moderate effort last start when 6 lengths from the winner in eighth over 5½f at this track. Better than recent efforts suggest.
