PLAYIN' HARDBALL (7) is progressing well this campaign. Opened with a seventh at Narrogin two starts back then scored by 1.2 lengths last time out over 7½f at this track. Nicely placed to play a pivotal role. CATCH THESE HANDS (1) settled at the rear then stoked up nicely in the straight to finish fourth over 7½f here last time. Should be doing best work late. JOLLY LACE (6) showed good early dash when resuming last start and held on well to finish 1.75 lengths back in second over 7½f at York. Meeting a deeper field this time but she is up to the challenge. ROCK OF KAHA (3) turned in a nice effort to score two runs ago but was not as effective last time out when tenth over 7½f at Ascot, beaten 5 lengths. Nicely placed to feature in the finish.
