BATTER UP (10) is a filly by Snippetson out of Get Fath on debut. Well held in a recent trial. Should run well. HARD TO TOP (7) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 5f207yards at Narrogin, beaten 4.5 lengths into seventh. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. SPIRIT RUNNER (12) was beaten 4.5 lengths into seventh in a 6½f contest at Northam nine days ago. Likely improver with strong top-three prospects.
