Daily Nap February 16: Chef to concoct winning recipe at Wetherby

There’s some typically competitive fayre at Wetherby on Wednesday February 16, but that’s not dissuaded Planet Sport’s Jonathan Doidge from heading there for his nap. This one could go in at a price.
There's some testing winter ground around at the moment and Wetherby is no different to many other tracks, with some of the jockeys reporting it as being difficult to get through at recent meetings.
That ought to suit Chef D'Oeuvre, who lines up for the 15-runner racingtv.com Handicap Chase (15.15). representing the Sam and Jonathan England team.
He's trading at around 14/1 at the time of writing, so he can be backed each-way, and admittedly we're taking a little bit of a leap of faith that he can come back to something like his optimum form. If he can, he's a serious player off this mark.
He is certainly very well treated on his form of this time last year, while his best run of this season so far came over Wednesday's course and distance. He stays further than this, so he'll not be found wanting in that department.
So it's Chef D'Oeuvre as a sporting suggestion in the 15.15 at Wetherby on Wednesday.
