York racing tip (14:25): Fox Journey looks overpriced on favoured ground

Horse racing tipster Model Man is back with his take on the Sky Bet Melrose Handicap, where he thinks he’s identified an overpriced runner.

Lordship is the bookmaker's favourite owing to his performance over the summer with a hat-trick of wins at Chepstow, Yarmouth and Haydock in his last three outings.
The assumption is he may have been building up to this race specifically having come from a yard who's triumphed in two of the last four years, so he's a definite threat.
Elsewhere, Middle Earth has recorded two second-place finishes and a win last time out in three starts. The longer trip looks suited and there's surely more to come.
Alhambra Palace improved in four consecutive runs prior to finally claiming a win at Ascot, an achievement that was compounded by another win at Sandown.

Edge of Darkness is the rank outsider but worth consideration given the form and improvement of late. This represents a step up, but he comes here on the back of a hat-trick.
There could be much more to come from Denmark and True Legend, trained by Aidan O'Brien and Sir Mark Prescott respectively.
However, tipster Model Man gives the nod to Fox Journey. Consistently in the frame this year, winning at Newmarket and Newbury, and looks versatile.
The slightly longer trip won't be an issue based on his effort when finishing third of 11 at Goodwood last time.
