Liam Smith speaks out on Conor Benn fight after statement win over Chris Eubank Jr – ‘be my guest!’

Liam Smith has told Conor Benn to “come for him” if he wants to face him next after the Liverpudlian's emphatic victory over Chris Eubank Jr.
Benn was due to fight Eubank Jr last October in an all-British mega-fight, but the bout was postponed after it was revealed that Conor had twice tested positive for the banned substance clomiphene.
He was the underdog going into the fight but he put in a sensational performance to stop Eubank Jr in the fourth round.
Benn meanwhile is due back in the ring in the coming months. He claims that his name has been cleared after he submitted a 270-word document to the WBC, but the details of this report are yet to emerge.
"Not really, I'm not going to sit and call Conor Benn out," Smith said on the DAZN Boxing Show.
The way Smith started throwing leads me to believe that he knew he had Eubank hurt when Eubank backed into the corner. Great finish while Eubank kept his head moving. #EubankJrSmith

Matchroom Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn has also poured cold water on suggestions that Smith could face Benn.
