The 2024 tennis calendar: Every tournament, dates and results
The world's top tennis players gather for the 2024 season as they aim to claim glory and prize money on the tours across the world over the next twelve months.
Obviously the big focus is on the Grand Slam events - Australian Open, French Open, Wimbledon Championships and the US Open - but there's loads more big tournaments to follow your favourite stars at.
Jannik Sinner and Aryna Sabalenka took the glory in the first Grand Slam of the year at the Australian Open.
At the French Open in June, Carlos Alcaraz won his first Roland Garros title, while Iga Swiatek romped to a fourth crown.
In July, Carlos Alcaraz remained the king of Centre Court after beating Novak Djokovic for the second year running to retain his Wimbledon crown. Czech Barbora Krejcikova beat Italian Jasmine Paolini to lift the women's trophy.
At the Olympics, Djokovic finally claimed gold in the men's event, while Zheng Qinwen took the women's medal.
Sinner won his first US Open in September, beating American Taylor Fritz at Flushing Meadows. Aryna Sabalenka won the women's event getting the better of Jessica Pegula 7-5 7-5.

Suzan Lamens won her first WTA title after beating Australia's Kimberly Birrell 6-0 6-4 in the Japan Open final.

Jannik Sinner produced a dominating display against Novak Djokovic in the Rolex Shanghai Masters final to lift his seventh title of 2024.
The Italian, who is already guaranteed to finish the season as world No 1, was in red-hot form as he surged to a 7-6 (7-4) 6-3 triumph against the 24-time Grand Slam champion.
Aryna Sabalenka became the first player to win the Wuhan Open three times with a hard-fought 6-3 5-7 6-3 win over Zheng Qinwen in Sunday's final.

Carlos Alcaraz ended Jannik Sinner’s winning run to take the China Open title in Beijing after another pulsating encounter.
Coco Gauff delivered an emphatic performance to dominate Karolina Muchova and win the China Open in Beijing.
Arthur Fils battled back to defeat Ugo Humbert 5-7 7-6 (8-6) 6-3 in the final of the Japan Open.

No.3 seed Beatriz Haddad Maia beat top seed Daria Kasatkina 1-6 6-4 6-1 to claim her first WTA title of the season at the Korea Open.
Carlos Alcaraz completed the comeback as Europe triumphed 13-11 over the rest of the world team to claim the Laver Cup in Berlin.
Slovakia’s Rebecca Sramkova won her first Hologic WTA Tour title at the Thailand Open after defeating Laura Siegemund 6-4 6-4 in the final.
Shang Juncheng lifted his maiden ATP Tour title after beating top seed Lorenzo Musetti 7-6(4), 6-1 at the Chengdu Open.
World number 777 Marin Cilic became the lowest-ranked winner in ATP history after beating Zhang Zhizhen 7-6(5) 7-6(5) to land the Hangzhou Open.

British number four Sonay Kartal capped a breakthrough week by clinching her maiden WTA Tour title at the Jasmin Open.
Magdalena Frech grabbed her first Hologic WTA Tour singles title of her career with a 7-6 6-4 win over Olivia Gadecki.

Jannik Sinner won the US Open for the first time and ended Taylor Fritz’s American dream in New York with a 6-3 6-4 7-5 victory.

American McCartney Kessler stunned No. 1 seed Beatriz Haddad Maia of Brazil, shaking off a brutal first set for a 1-6, 6-1, 7-5 victory in the final of Tennis in the Land in Cleveland.
