Tennis Tips: Holger Rune over Alex Di Minaur, Zverev to win battle of Alexanders
Here we present four leads for your tennis accumulator on Saturday 24 June 2023.
Weather has played havoc with the WTA Tour action in Berlin but in Halle and Kensington the path to Wimbledon glory continues.
The Queen's Club Championships are down to the last four as is the Terra Wortmann Open in Halle and the Birmingham Classic on the WTA side.
In Berlin they will need a double shift on Saturday to get back on Schedule.
Tennis acca tips
Here we pick four players likely to come out on top in matches across Saturday's programme on the ATP and WTA Tours.
Queen's Club Championships: Holger Rune vs Alex di Minaur | Pick: Rune
Terra Wortmann Open: Alexander Zverev vs Alexander Bublik | Pick: Zverev
Terra Wortmann Open: Roberto Bautista Agut vs Andrey Rublev | Pick: Rublev
Berlin Open: Maria Sakkari vs Marketa Vondrousova | Pick: Sakkari
Queen's Club Championships: Holger Rune vs Alex di Minaur
Prior to this week Holger Rune had yet to notch a win on a grass court but he has taken to the surface well and emerged as one of the Queen's favourites.
Alex di Minaur is also enjoying a confidence-boosting running having brought an end to Andy Murray's winnings streak earlier in the week.
Di Minaur won the last meeting between the two players but Rune holds a 2-1 advantage in their head-to-head rivalry.
Rune's edge in power should prove decisive if he can land enough first serves, although on his day the 20-year-old Dane can be impossible to live with on his second delivery as well.
Terra Wortmann Open: Alexander Zverev vs Alexander Bublik
Home hope Alexander Zverev is out to reach his third final at Halle's Terra Wortmann Open and end his wait for a title at the German grass court event.
Standing in his way is monster serving Alexander Bublik who has beaten Zverev twice in three meetings.
However, Zverev emerged victorious in their most recent meeting albeit a three-setter on clay, a surface far more suited to the former world No 2.
Zverev has shaken off concerns about his movement with his displays in the tournament so far and he should have enough to square this rivalry.
Terra Wortmann Open: Roberto Bautista Agut vs Andrey Rublev | Pick: Rublev
Roberto Bautista Agut will be out to upset a Russian opponent for the second match in a row when he faces Andrey Rublev.
Bautista Agut sent top seed Daniil Medvedev packing last time out but the margins were tight as can be and there will be doubts that he can get up for another huge match.
Rublev needed three sets to see off 's-Hertogenbosch champion Tallon Griekspoor to reach the last four.
While the pair have evenly split eight meetings on the ATP Tour, this will be their first clash on grass.
Berlin Open: Maria Sakkari vs Marketa Vondrousova | Pick: Sakkari
Maria Sakkari is on course to arrest her slide down the WTA Rankings if she can reach the last four of the Berlin Open on Saturday.
The quarterfinals and semi-finals will share the stage on Saturday after rain washed out the day's play on Friday.
Sakkari has appeared to be back to her best form and she should avenge her defeat to Marketa Vondrousova in their only previous meeting.
The Greek No 1 is yet to drop a set this week and is high on confidence heading into what promises to be a busy Saturday.
