Lazio vs Fiorentina tips and predictions: Visitors to pinch a point as both teams score
Lazio will play Fiorentina at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome on Monday night in Serie A.
The last time the two teams met in Rome was in January of this year when the game ended in a 1-1 draw.
Fiorentina have only scored once in their previous four head-to-head games against Lazio, who have won three of those matches without conceding.
The Tuscan's last away win against Roma came in May 2016 when they beat their hosts 4-2.
After a difficult start to the season, Lazio is showing signs of recovery in Serie A. They have three wins in the last four rounds, including two in their last two games.
After defeating Atalanta (3-2) and Sassuolo (2-0), they lost 1-3 to Feyenoord in Rotterdam in the Champions League, a game in which the Dutch team was completely dominant.
Maurizio Sarri will be concerned about Lazio's defence. They have conceded 12 goals in Serie A this season, and have only kept one clean sheet at home, in a 2-0 win over Torino.
Suggested bet: Both teams to score
With the team struggling and talisman Ciro Immobile not at his best, new signing Taty Castellanos is edging closer to a start after a goal and two assists in recent appearances.
Fiorentina have the potential to be a top team, but their inconsistency and poor defence is preventing them from having a realistic chance of finishing in the top four.
They’ve picked up seven wins and four draws for 14 in all competitions while scoring 30 and conceding 18.
Fiorentina's inconsistency is best exemplified by their last four results. A 2-2 draw against Ferencvaros in the Conference League at home was followed by a stunning 3-1 victory away to Napoli.
Fiorentina, led by Vincenzo Italiano, lost at home to Empoli 0-2, but they bounced back this week with a 6-0 win over Cucaricki in the Conference League, where they are currently top of the group.
Suggested bet: Fiorentina to win or draw
