Brighton have the best away record in the PL behind Arsenal and Man City.

Team news

Lucas Moura (ban) misses out. Emerson Royal (knee), Rodrigo Bentancur (knee), Ben Davies (hamstring), Ryan Sessegnon (hamstring) and Yves Bissouma (ankle) are all missing. Richarlison (calf) could return to the bench.
Tariq Lamptey is hoping to return from a knee problem. Alexis MacAllister and Moises Caicedo picked up knocks at Bournemouth but will be fit. Adam Lallana (thigh), Jakub Moder (knee) and Jeremy Sarmiento (ankle) are all sidelined.

Verdict

Spurs' 1-1 draw at Everton in midweek was suicidal and if they adopt similar tactics against Brighton, it could turn sour at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
They were 1-0 up, with Everton down to 10-men, but dropped off 20 yards, got a man of their own sent off and ended up drawing 1-1. It was two points thrown away in their battle for fourth place and that could prove costly, especially if they lose at home to Brighton.
Brighton have the third best record away from home in the division and average two goals per game. They won 2-0 at Bournemouth in midweek and had 16 shots at goal in a game in which they dominated.
They will have to surrender more possession against Spurs though, who still have a forward line of Harry Kane, Dejan Kulusevski and Son Heung-min, who can mix it with the best.
Brighton have scored in eight of their last nine away and those games have also seen both teams score. Roberto de Zerbi's men are one of the division's entertainers, but they do gift chances at the other end as Leeds and Leicester will vouch for.
Tottenham have won 10 games at home and have netted in all but two. They look a different side in front of their own fans and the players will be desperate to put on a show and prove Antonio Conte wrong after his departure from the club.
Whether they will have it all their own way is debatable because Brighton have established themselves as a force this season and a scoring draw looks likely.
