We're going to take a shot at the big one. We're now halfway through the MLS season and June is notoriously a good month for goals.
The lowest xG for this weekend's matches is currently Sporting and LA, who are expected to produce 2.25 goals.
Despite that, LA are underperforming and will catch up at some stage, while Sporting are looking like they'll just stay clinical and tend to overperform.
The rest of the games are open contests and if we get a few early goals, it could make for a very interesting second half.
New York City, DC United, New England Revolution, Nashville SC and San Jose Earthquakes all have a reasonable chance of scoring 2+ goals by our projections and that would be a fantastic starting point.
