Roberto Firmino (muscle) picked up an injury and didn't feature against Spurs. He could return to training this week, but this game may come too soon for him. Stefan Bajcetic (groin), Calvin Ramsay (knee) and Naby Keita (recovery) are all in the treatment room, but the latter is closing in on a return.

Aleksandar Mitrovic will continue his extended suspension for putting his hands on a match official. Willian (thigh) was sat alongside him at Craven Cottage after failing a fitness test, so he could return on Wednesday.

Tim Ream (broken arm) will be out for the season after injuring himself at the weekend. Andreas Pereira (leg) was stretched off in the same game and could be set for an extended absence.

Fulham suffered a 2-1 defeat at home to Manchester City. Given the Sky Blues' sensational form, there's no shame in that defeat. The Cottagers managed to stay in the game for the duration.

Marco Silva's side have enjoyed a successful return to the top flight. Finishing seventh and bagging one of the cascading European places was a possibility, but back-to-back defeats to Villa and City have made that a tall order.

Fulham's season is threatening to spiral after losing seven of their last nine matches. Saturday's defeat cost the London club more than three points as Tim Ream suffered a broken arm and Andreas Pereira was stretchered off.

Ream has been the one ever-present for Fulham this season, starting every Premier League match and spending just 70 injury-enforced minutes on the sidelines.

Tosin Adarabioyo and Issa Diop have made 20 and 16 appearances respectively, but all of those came alongside Ream. Fulham have lined up in a 4-2-3-1 every game this season and this will be the first time this pairing has started together.

They are likely to be tested from the off at Anfield, where Liverpool have scored 16 goals in their last four home league matches. The Reds have found the net five times in the first half, scoring in both halves in three of those matches.

Fulham seem stretched to their limit ahead of this game and it should only be a matter of time before Liverpool break through. As well as backing goals and a home win, trusting the hosts to win both halves seems a solid bet.

Fulham are a limited attack without Mitrovic and before April, Liverpool's defence limited their visitors to four goals in nine matches. After their recent performances at home, keeping things tight will be a priority.
