League One midweek acca tips: Vale’s away woes to continue, Bolton on a roll

Bolton Wanderers

It’s matchday three in League One and the Planet Sport team has picked out a four-team acca to get us up and running for the season.

We're backing Blackpool to get the best of Port Vale on Tuesday night, while Cambridge United are a nice price to continue their fine form. Our midweek League One acca pays 10/1 at the time of writing.

Bet: Cambridge United to beat Stevenage

Bet: Portsmouth to beat Exeter City

Bet: Bolton Wanderers to beat Fleetwood Town

Blackpool vs Port Vale

Blackpool have been a defensive juggernaut thus far. They've kept three consecutive clean sheets to start the season but performed poorly away to Exeter.
Port Vale have responded with back-to-back wins since their 7-0 thrashing at the hands of Barnsley, but have lost eight of their last 10 on their travels, winning zero.

Cambridge United vs Stevenage

Gassan Ahadme has scored in both of Cambridge's wins so far this season and despite exiting the Carabao Cup, the U's have scored two in each of their three matches.
Stevenage have made a perfect start to life in League One but this is by far their toughest test so far and they might just let their guard down after back-to-back wins.

Portsmouth vs Exeter City

Portsmouth have thrashed Forest Green and Leyton Orient since getting out of jail late on against Bristol Rovers in their home opener.
They'll be motivated to record a first home win of the season and although Exeter deserve credit for what they're achieving, they're in for a long season and this is a big step up.

Bolton Wanderers vs Fleetwood Town

Bolton have scored seven unanswered goals and looked like a promotion contender so far this season, dismantling both Lincoln and Cheltenham on their travels.

This is arguably an easier game than both of those as they take on a Fleetwood side yet to get off the mark this season. They seem to have problems on and off the field.
