Antoine Griezmann responds to questions about signing for MLS club

Fresh off a starring role in France's 1-0 win over Greece on Monday, Antoine Griezmann was quizzed on a possible summer move to Major League Soccer.

The French forward scored 15 goals and added 16 assists for Atletico Madrid in the 2022/23 La Liga season.

Talks about a move to MLS first surfaced several years ago when Griezmann referenced the league and said he'd like to finish his career there.

With the arrival of former teammate Lionel Messi landing in Miami, and further signings imminent, the question was posed to Griezmann again this week.

He said, "It's a dream of mine" when discussing the possibility of playing in the United States, adding: "I want it to be the best possible conditions when I go there, but it's certainly an objective in the future."

Comments like that could fuel speculation that he'll cross the Atlantic sooner rather than later, but a summer move is unlikely.

Griezmann is still operating at the top of his game and is likely to feature for France in Euro 2024.
