Who Leeds United could sign this summer: Pierre Kunde, Viktor Gyokeres, Ryan Manning and more
Leeds United will likely be active in the 2023 summer transfer window, reshaping their squad for a tilt at promotion from the Championship. Planet Sport takes a look at who they might sign.
Wilfried Gnonto, Jack Harrison and Rodrigo are just some of the big names who could be leaving Elland Road this summer.
The club will be looking to rebuild for the Championship, with players needed in most positions.
Pierre Kunde
With the likely departures of Marc Roca and Tyler Adams, the Whites will be left will very little midfielders heading into the 2023/24 season.
Reports have suggested that Leeds United are interested in 27-year-old Pierre Kunde from Olympiacos.
The Cameroon international spent last season on loan at Bundesliga outfit VfL Bochum on six-month loan from January 2023.
A more ambitious signing for the club could be Coventry midfielder Gustavo Hamer, who managed nine goals and 10 assists over 41 league games for Coventry.
Viktor Gyokeres
With Rodrigo most likely leaving this summer, the club will need to find a replacement quick.
Gyokeres managed 21 goals last season in the Championship and will be wanted by many clubs this summer.
Ryan Manning
Left-backs have been a problem for Leeds United for a while now, with current defender Junior Firpo set to leave this summer.
The former Barcelona man did not impress and other left-back Stuart Dallas was injured for all of last season.
The Ireland international is leaving Swansea City when his contract expires and has been a top Championship performer for many years.
However, Leeds will not be the only club possibly interested in his services so Leeds might face a fight for him.
Marek Rodak
With Illan Meslier looking likely to leave the club and Joel Robles' contract expiring, Leeds will be in search of a new first-choice goalkeeper.
Fulham goalkeeper Marek Rodak could be an option for the Whites as his deal with Fulham runs out in 2024.
The Slovakian international was a back-up to Bernd Leno for most of last season.
With two Championship promotions to his name, Rodak could get decent minutes at Elland Road if he makes the switch.
Other options could be Freddie Woodman who impressed for Preston in his debut season with 17 clean sheets - or out-of-favour Bournemouth goalkeeper Mark Travers.
